2017 Year-End Update

year end 2017.png

Our organization's first year has been full of changes and exciting opportunities. As we close out 2017, we wanted to give you an update on all that has happened and a sneak peek into what 2018 has in store.

Thank you!

Thank you to all of our supporters and teammates who have made this year possible. Because of you, we have encouraged and trained over 100 foster and adoptive parents. We've held three Restore Retreats since July and given away resources and gifts worth thousands of dollars. With your help, we've raised awareness about the local and national foster care crisis. And we've invested in relationships with the local and state child welfare agencies. Thank you for your donations, support, and prayers!

A Sneak Peek into 2018

Our first priority going into 2018 is bringing CarePortal to Arkansas, beginning with Sebastian County. CarePortal brings the needs of hurting children and families in your community to your attention. Child welfare workers uncover the needs. CarePortal makes local churches aware, giving them a real-time opportunity to respond.

We have the chance to bring the community together for the sake of children and families in crisis, and CarePortal is the vehicle. Uniting local churches, child welfare workers, non-profit organizations, and businesses to tackle this crisis together only makes our community stronger. We're excited to partner with The Global Orphan Project to bring this life-changing tool to Arkansas for the first time.

Watch this 2-minute video to learn more about how CarePortal works.

We need funding, volunteers, and local churches to make CarePortal a success. We are currently raising money to launch in early 2018. We have the chance to be the hands and feet of Jesus in practical ways for local families. Your year-end donation will bring us one step closer.
